Services and Supports to Promote the Social
Inclusion of Persons with Developmental Disabilities Act, 2008,
the
ministries new plain language guide to recently passed developmental services
legislation. The booklet is intended to explain the details of the
recently passed legislation in plain language in a way that is accessible to all
Ontarians. A focus group of self-advocates assisted us in making sure that
individuals with a developmental disability would find the booklet

created by BC Partners for Mental Health and Addiction Information. Includes
online interactive toolkits.
- The
F.O.R.C.E. (Families Organized for Recognition and Care Equality) –
Provides information for families on mental health issues for children and
youth. Includes a section for parents called "Dealing with a Crisis." FORCE
is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to ensure mental health care
and services are provided to children and youth.
